Third Round of Workshops on Expanded Bus and Rail Options Begin March 22
Triangle Citizens Invited to Share Feedback Following Evaluation of Transit Corridors
WHAT: The last series of public workshops providing Triangle citizens with an opportunity to share input on the alternative analysis process as part of the Triangle Regional Transit Program (TRTP) will start on March 22. The TRTP includes proposed options for rail and expanded bus service in the region. The series of seven workshops in Wake, Durham and Orange counties will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Note time change: The session scheduled for Monday, March 28, in Raleigh will be from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. The workshops are part of a federally prescribed alternatives analysis required by the Federal Transit Administration.
WHO: Triangle Transit and the region’s two planning organizations and bus service providers are leading the Triangle Regional Transit Program.
