Town Holiday Service Schedule

Most municipal offices will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
The annual fireworks celebration organized by the Town of Chapel Hill in Kenan Stadium has been canceled due to budget constraints. Chapel Hill will be flying American flags throughout downtown in observance of the holiday.
RESIDENTIAL REFUSE COLLECTION: There will be no service on Monday, July 4. Monday routes will be collected on Wednesday, July 6.
CURBSIDE RECYCLING: There will be no change in schedule.
COMMERCIAL REFUSE COLLECTION: There will be no service. Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday, July 5.
ORANGE COUNTY LANDFILL will be closed.
ORANGE COUNTY SOLID WASTE CONVENIENCE CENTERS will be closed.
CHAPEL HILL TRANSIT will not operate.
HOUSING: Offices and Maintenance Division will be closed. For emergency maintenance services, call 968-2855.
LIBRARY: The Library will be closed.
PARKING SERVICES: The Parking Office will be closed. All municipal parking will be free.
PARKS AND RECREATION: The Plant Road administrative office and Chapel Hill Community Center will be closed. For schedules at the Hargraves Center, call 919-968-2794. For schedules at the Aquatic Center, call 919-968-2799.
