The Carrboro Bicycle Coalition, Bicycle Alliance of Chapel Hill, and NEXT are showing a film about the use of cargo bikes for transportation called MOTHERLOAD at the Carrboro ArtsCenter on Saturday, October 19. I saw the movie at the National Bike Summit last year, and I thought it was fun and thought-provoking. You can see a trailer for the movie here. We are going to have a family-friendly cruiser ride and a display of cargo bikes prior to the screening, which is at 6:30.
